March 20th marked my first day of my third co-op quarter at the paper mill in Chillicothe, OH. At the time the mill was in the hands of the New Page. On April 1st it changed into the hands of Glatfelter Corporation. Excitement is in the air at the mill about the changing of ownership. Personally, I was excited to read up on the happening when I found out about it. I have been busy at work so far this quarter with projects and helping with the various errands that needs to be done with the engineering department. Enjoyment is the only thing I can say about working inside of the facility. So far this quarter I have been finding myself having a small feeling of home in Chillicothe, but it does not compare to the feeling of home in Cincinnati. I miss being around the members of the cycling club and others. As a result of being on co-op, I have the opportunity to train and race again, and I have been taking advantage of it. At times I almost feel like I don't know how fill my free time, but I wind up finding something to do. The current group of co-ops hail from UC, Toledo, Akron, and Dayton. I have been enjoying my time with them. Although, I am excited for the next semester group to get down here, due to these were the people I got to hang out with in the fall. Hopefully, I can start to make it back to Cincy more to wipe the club into shape.
