Nano Nieport
Posted by: Brian Nieport @ 2006.03.16.0020

For many months, I have been debating on whether or not to get an iPod. As I return to Chillicothe for co-op work at the paper mill, I will have time to train hard again. Since I spend all of my training time in Chillicothe on my own, I decided to get one to help pass the time as I prepare for summer races. Also, it is a nice addition to my studying arsenal, as I love listening to music as I study, and the iPod is making it easier for me to bring music to campus.

So far, I have been enjoying my new iPod Nano, and I am amazed at its small dimensions. It is just a baby step for me, as I join the Apple nation. Although, I look forward to my next Apple purchase in a few years, when I finish my engineering degree and will be indulging in a notebook from Apple.

I think I am going to have to start imposing a 10 sentence minimum on articles...

john adams @ 2006.03.16 0324
did you have a notecard on what to say in orde to make the transaction take place?

anon @ 2006.03.16 0415
how do you think that read?
"Nieport - iPod - Grrrr!"

Ned @ 2006.03.16 1029
I think it would be like one of those Cincinnati Bell commericials with prehistoric man.

Don't forget to connect that to you car radio.

katherine @ 2006.03.17 0106
i think that there's a middle part missing that tells of the actual acquisition of the ipod.

Ned @ 2006.03.17 0920
Talking about acquisitions, the same person (as the last break-in) broke into the shop last night and stole two bikes.

Does anyone have rat-traps?

Elmer Fudd @ 2006.03.19 1336
  What is a DecaVirate......????

Ned @ 2006.03.20 0926

Fuse @ 2006.03.24 1539
  "tasty adult beverages" ~ "soma"

Ned @ 2006.03.24 1928
Busch is not a tasty adult beverage. Busch is a post adolescence want to get buzzed beverage. If you want tasty, go get some Duval.

Fuse @ 2006.03.24 2134

No that was running Mac OSX on a PC. This is running Windows XP on a Mac.

Fuse @ 2006.04.06 0900
Furthermore this is big news, because windows vista is not supposed to support EFI, which supposedly would have made it possible to run on the intel macs. Despite this, Apple has made it possible to run windows xp on their hardware. Obviously, I'm not certain about all the specifics, but interoperability is a nice new feature for all those AutoCAD architects...

will @ 2006.04.06 1900
  yeah, it's about time

john adams @ 2006.04.06 1900
"we're gonna CAD this shit up!"

Apple Sends 3rd Grader Cease And Desist Letter

Fuse @ 2006.04.14 1639
Traffic issues can be a problem. I think to relieve the pedestrian incidents in LA they should simply remove the danger of pedestrians - no more cross walks, pedestrians not allowed. This style of governance was enacted on my street, when parked cars became to much of a danger for speeders. Now with people parking in their yards instead of the street, speeders can more safely run the various stop signs around my house.

charlie @ 2006.04.17 1010
  Anderson Zoning Fun.

Perhaps the kind of inspiration DecaVirate needs? Maybe borrow every junk car you can and fill the front yard up?

Ned @ 2006.04.18 2009
  Install spike strips.

Elmer Fudd @ 2006.04.19 1227
How about painting bodies with tire tracks across them at the intersections then = life in prison

john adams @ 2006.04.19 1341
how about crosses in the yard for every car that runs the stop sign.

anon2 @ 2006.04.19 2237
Grad students from NKU might tear them out.

john adams @ 2006.04.19 2340
so if you "tripped" over one of the crosses who's liable?

katherine @ 2006.04.20 1917
  oh the irony . . .

katherine @ 2006.04.20 2058
this needs to be documented. save it to your hard drive!

the silent one @ 2006.04.20 2324
What a great picture of me and that is ealry in the night. I heart alcholic beverages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I heart the Fuse!!!!!! If would wind up showing the pictures from later in the nigh, most people would have a heart attack for I was hanging out with females.

Fuse @ 2006.04.20 2350
Well remember what the legendary Eric Foster once said.... "If you drink in high school, that's cool. And if you drink in college, that's still cool, but if you're drinking after college, you're just a loser."

anon @ 2006.04.21 1525
I think what he really said was... "If you live in you parent house in high school, that's normal. And if you still live there in college, that's not that bad, but if you live there after college, your just f***in' lame."

bremer @ 2006.04.21 1536
I thought he said..."If you go one week without updating you website, that's normal. If you go two weeks with out updating, that's bad, but if you go one month without and update, your website just plain sucks!"

katherine @ 2006.04.21 2341
at least he has a website, bremer.

the silent one @ 2006.04.22 0807
Fuse, I have only one thing to say to your quote. Ben Franklin states it nicely with "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

anon @ 2006.04.23 1039
  I wouldn't call Foster legendary.

Fuse @ 2006.04.23 1101
Fair enough, that modifier should probably be reserved for someone like the legendary darkhorse component...

Ned @ 2006.04.24 0032
I'm glad I could come by in-between my busy space-flights and visit decaVirate today.
