Nano Nieport
Posted by: Brian Nieport @ 2006.03.16.0020
For many months, I have been debating on whether or not to get an iPod. As I return to Chillicothe for co-op work at the paper mill, I will have time to train hard again. Since I spend all of my training time in Chillicothe on my own, I decided to get one to help pass the time as I prepare for summer races. Also, it is a nice addition to my studying arsenal, as I love listening to music as I study, and the iPod is making it easier for me to bring music to campus.
So far, I have been enjoying my new iPod Nano, and I am amazed at its small dimensions. It is just a baby step for me, as I join the Apple nation. Although, I look forward to my next Apple purchase in a few years, when I finish my engineering degree and will be indulging in a notebook from Apple.

i think that there's a middle part missing that tells of the actual acquisition of the ipod.

Talking about acquisitions, the same person (as the last break-in) broke into the shop last night and stole two bikes. Does anyone have rat-traps?

No that was running Mac OSX on a PC. This is running Windows XP on a Mac.
|
Fuse @ 2006.04.06 0900
| |
Furthermore this is big news, because windows vista is not supposed to support EFI, which supposedly would have made it possible to run on the intel macs. Despite this, Apple has made it possible to run windows xp on their hardware. Obviously, I'm not certain about all the specifics, but interoperability is a nice new feature for all those AutoCAD architects...

Traffic issues can be a problem. I think to relieve the pedestrian incidents in LA they should simply remove the danger of pedestrians - no more cross walks, pedestrians not allowed. This style of governance was enacted on my street, when parked cars became to much of a danger for speeders. Now with people parking in their yards instead of the street, speeders can more safely run the various stop signs around my house.

Anderson Zoning Fun.
Perhaps the kind of inspiration DecaVirate needs? Maybe borrow every junk car you can and fill the front yard up?

Well remember what the legendary Eric Foster once said.... "If you drink in high school, that's cool. And if you drink in college, that's still cool, but if you're drinking after college, you're just a loser."
|
anon @ 2006.04.21 1525

I think what he really said was... "If you live in you parent house in high school, that's normal. And if you still live there in college, that's not that bad, but if you live there after college, your just f***in' lame."

bremer @ 2006.04.21 1536

I thought he said..."If you go one week without updating you website, that's normal. If you go two weeks with out updating, that's bad, but if you go one month without and update, your website just plain sucks!"

Fuse, I have only one thing to say to your quote. Ben Franklin states it nicely with "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

I wouldn't call Foster legendary.

Fair enough, that modifier should probably be reserved for someone like the legendary darkhorse component...
